How to make Gnocchi
The first step in making gnocchi is cooking your potatoes. Boil, peel and grate the potatoes then let cool. Once cooled you'll add ricotta, flour, salt and egg and stir to combine. Once combined, begin to knead by hand. You'll start to feel the pasta coming together and feeling some elasticity. Form into a loaf and slice lengthwise. Roll each slice then cut into bite sized pieces. Place gnocchi in a pot of boiling water and boil just until they float to the top. Serve in your favorite sauce and enjoy.
